“Solos and duets” è un album che si è sviluppato in 10 anni, dal 2011 al 2021, attraverso registrazioni non progettuali, che avevano lo scopo di collocare su un supporto alcune delle composizioni preferite di Sergio Giangaspero. La maggior parte delle musiche sono di autori brasiliani, riarrangiate rispetto alle versioni originali.
La scaletta è completata da “On sunday”, dell'haitiano Frantz Casseus e da 4 degli 11 Preludi scritti da Gingaspero e pubblicati nel 2021 con Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia.
I duetti sono stati completati nel 2022.

"Solos and duets" has developed over ten years, from 2011 to 2021, through recordings which had not a project-oriented meaning but had the purpose of placing on a support some of Giangaspero's favorite compositions. Most of the music is by Brazilian authors rearranged.
The playlist is completed by “On Sunday”, by the Haitian Frantz Casseus, and by four of the "11 Preludes" of Giangaspero wrote and published with Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia in 2021.
The duets were completed in 2022.
